Hirschworth publishes poetry, fiction, essays, visual art, send-ups, and the like. Our goal is to present work of quality, originality, and insight. We love Oxford commas.
Please note that our site has recently changed and we are still in the process of updating our archives. For this reason, archived work may not yet appear correctly but should soon. Thank you for your patience.
Hirschworth About
Hirschworth is dedicated in loving memory to Evelyn Beverly Hirschworth. Evelyn was born in Ohio in 1925 and began writing poetry and painting during the Great Depression. She was the wife of a carpet salesman, a secretary at a Chevy dealership, raised two sons, and eventually left Ohio to retire in Montana. She continued to produce work until her death at age 87. Her work has never previously been published or shown as she was quite shy (though this is not reflected in either her content or styling). We will be presenting some of it here.

Richard C. Armstrong III, Culture Director
Richard (aka Gringo Slush, Trip Dick, and the Don Juan of Tacoma) is a poet, home designer, musician, and businessman residing in Seattle, WA. Steelhead fear him.
Patrick Marich, Website Architect
Patrick is quite simply the dopest. We cannot begin to describe the how and the why, what with our limited brain capacities and rudimentary understandings of what goes on behind the scenes of the amazing sites he creates—so go see for yourself: PMarich.com.
Leigh Ann Ruggiero, Literary Director
Leigh Ann is a writer and professor living in Great Falls, MT. She teaches English and creative writing at Montana State University Great Falls. She is also a kickass yoga instructor.

Christopher Robinson, Poetry Editor
Christopher (aka Wise Cracker, the God Emcee), is a poet, novelist, and homeless man. He finds mirrors and copulation abominable in that they multiply humanity. #solidgoldbatwing
